DeilbachSteig – circular hiking trail

The new DeilbachSteig circular trail starts in Kupferdreh. Here there is also a connection to the BaldeneySteig. The route connects the cities of Essen, Velbert and Hattingen over around 33 kilometres. It leads past the Isenburg in Hattingen through Elfringhauser Schweiz and to the Wilhelmshöhe viewpoint. Between the Deilbachtal cultural landscape and Velbert-Nierenhof and Velbert-Langenberg, it returns via the Dilldorfer Höhe settlement in Essen Kupferdreh. There is much to discover and you have many great views. Various restaurants and cafes invite you to take a break.
