The apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the Essen Borbeck moated castle, in a small, quiet but central private street with an appealing and well-kept neighbourhood on the edge of the forest. The castle park is ideal for a long walk, jogging or cycling. Daily needs can be met on foot in the centre of Essen-Borbeck. There you will find supermarkets, drugstores, pharmacies and doctors as well as services. Bakers, cafés and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away. From the Borbeck train station you can reach the centre of Essen, the Essen main train station, Haltern am See, Marl, Bottrop, Velbert, Oberhausen and Wuppertal with various public transport lines. The S-Bahn connects Essen’s main railway station in 8 minutes by car. From there, you can reach all destinations within Essen or the neighbouring cities of Mülheim, Bochum, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Dortmund. By car, you can reach the centre of Mülheim and the Rhine-Ruhr shopping centre in about 15 minutes, and centre such as centre Oberhausen are only 12 minutes away.
