Filmstudio Glückauf

The Filmstudio Glückauf on the “Rü” in Essen is not only one of the oldest cinemas in North Rhine-Westphalia, but also the diamond among regional cinemas. The art house cinema, which opened in 1924, was destroyed in 1945 and later rebuilt in 1950s style according to plans that have since disappeared.
