Sit in Essen’s Stadtgarten and picnic with a view of the Philharmonie and Aalto Theater while listening to exciting sounds: That’s what the “Park Sounds” offer at the end of the season. The successful cooperation between the Philharmonie Essen and the Folkwang University of the Arts will be continued in the summer of 2023: students from the Folkwang composition classes, together with their professors, will present changing programs every evening from 8 to 10 p.m. that are specially designed for the acoustic situation in the park. Look forward to cozy early summer evenings with original music in a relaxed atmosphere!
