Philharmonie

With the Philharmonie Essen, one of the most beautiful and acoustically best concert halls in Germany has been created in the building of the historic Saalbau (opened in 1904). After extensive renovation, the house was ceremoniously reopened in June 2004 and has since gained great international recognition, especially for its programmatic work.
